What do you guys think about gangsta rap?

  7. The worst s*** in music as of right now. I really cannot stand it at all. I like good rap, but most gangsta rap is absolute junk repeating the same simple themes over and over again.

Mind's Playin Trick On Me-The Geto Boys 5. Cock The Hammer-Cypress Hill All On My Nut Sac is seriously the best insult fest ever recorded. It makes Me die laughing from some of the burns in it.

  10. Meh. I personally can't stand gangsta rap. Most rap and hip hop music of this decade has literally gone to the dogs as far as I can tell. But rap music from the 80s and early 90s I can dig. The music from that time period was actually pretty good as far as rap music goes. Peace!
  11. I loved it when I was younger. Some of makes me cringe now. MC Eiht - We Come Strapped, why did I buy that again? But Straight Outta Compton, The Chronic, Doggystyle, Southernplayalistic.., The Predator, Illmatic, and Strictly For My N.I.G.G.A.Z. are all great albums.

  13. I am pretty unimpressed with today's rap, but I still love Dr. Dre and Snoop on The Chronic album. I listened to quite a bit of rap back then.

  18. It is the least useful form of music on the planet. It does nothing but encourage vile behavior, misogyny, greed and avariciousness. Nothing that gangsta rap has provided the community is of any worth. Now...Public Enemy, on the other hand, THAT is a kind of rap worth listening to. Arrested Development's hip-hop style, De La Soul's funky style...that's good music.
