What is the deal with people who listen to country music and gangsta rap?

1. i personally hate both those genres of music (especially country!!!!!!) but i think everyone has the right to like whatever music they want. to each his own, right?
2. there is nothing wrong with people listening to total different types of music....i feel that a real music lover does listen to all types of music or at least give everything a chance
3. i think that if u are a real music lover you will listen to everything...personally i don't like country,hard rock,or classical....but that's just me....everyone is different.
4. It comes down to the matter of that persons heritage. Most (but definitely not all) people who listen to country are from down south, and most people who listen to gangsta rap are from the ghetto. Other people are just more open to new music and learn to enjoy it. For example, I thought I hated both genres, but I let myself just listen to the music with no bias and I found music in both of the genres that I liked.
5. I listen to Music. There is crap out there, it is categorized and filed for those who are uncircumcized of ear and some people worry over it. I do not worry. When the music is real I can feel it, when it is contrived it dies, but not before a wannabe alpha male finally gets the mean girl to dance with him to a Whitney Houston stupid love song so the gang can get home to the country and out of that City before the nice girls curfew. I listen to Marduk, Johnnie Cash, The Clash (before they got uppity), Jesus H. Jones, Snoop, ICE and all that jazz. I am no friend of Live but I let them be near Otter Creek because the rhinemaid is in me. If you must Rage Against The Machine, know the maze minotaur. So the deal with an individual's choice of music is whatever gets them through to the place where the fiddler never loses a step and the singer is a proper Cyrillic lass with too much class and the Bodhran is played by a fella who has what the Nazis were searching for but will never find because it can't be bought with weregild. Now behave silly monkey or the Irish might invade your town and they won't be the servant class. This song will not stop them or encourage them, it merely is.
