What's the difference between West Coast Gangsta rap beats and East Coast Gangsta rap beats?

2. THE BEATS 4 DIFFERENTIATE FROM LOCATION 2 LOCATION BECAUSE OF THEIR ENVIROMENTS. WEST COAST USUALLY HAS MORE CHILL. EAST BEATS ARE TIGHT, PRECISE BECAUSE THERE ARE MORE URBAN/ INNER CITIES ON THE EAST COAST.
3. The difference is just the slang used and the sound of the beats...west coast "gangsta" rap beats have a completely different sound...east coast "gangsta" rap beats have a darker sound. But my question is...who falls into this catagory now-a-days? I don't really consider too many to be "gangsta" rappers anymore.

5. Just keep listening to the beats of each region and then you can slowly start to hear a difference. I guess West Coast beats sound a bit more 'fun'
6. Being from the East....I say its that dungeon sound that comes out of NYC. Mobb Deep, Rza, Red Man, Wu etc. Listen to hmmm Snoop and put that beat along side something from Rza "wu"...ra ra ra ra....
