What does the phrase "down for mine" mean in gangsta rap music?

Ive heard the phrase in various hardcore rap songs by Dre, Eazy and too short and I was wondering what that phrase means.

2. It means you are either down for your crew or set..You are willing to do whatever for them or the cause.
3. When a rapper says that it means that they are indicating that they are down for their hood, their family, their gang, etc. Hope my answer was helpful..
